INSTALLATIONS
The main facilities of the company are featured on a privately owned plot of 40.000 m2, at the Municipality of Pylaia, Thesaloniki. The building which accommodates the company is privately owned, of a surface area equal to 10.000 m2 and constitutes one of the most advanced facilities in Europe.

The safety of both personnel and products is the basic provision of the company; thus, it is incorporated in the facilities planning. State-of-the-art systems are implemented in order to provide:
  • Fire protection
  • Building Access Control. Access control to each and every part of the facilities.
  • Security services (24-hour guard).
  • Stable environmental conditions (temperature, humidity, lighting) controlled by the Building Management System.

Automation covers the 98% of the procedures. From the goods-in of the products to the placement of the prepared order on the loading ramp, the procedures are automatically performed by means of super modern equipment. The facilities of the company constitute one of the most advanced logistic centers of Europe, in which 15.000 products are stored and 3.500 customers' orders are daily dispatched, in an automated by 98% way. Such automation ensures:
  • The observance of specific procedures during the storage of the products and the dispatch of the orders
  • Expedient and timely delivery
  • Avoidance of errors
  • Sufficient resources to execute up to 1200 customer orders per hour

The environmental friendly concept constitutes part of the company's philosophy and has been fully implemented in the facilities planning as well. Specific procedures and systems are applied to that end:
  • Recycling of cartons
  • Use of sunlight for part of the facilities lighting (by means of solar tubes)
  • Use of natural gas for the heating and cooling of the facilities
  • The facilities environment is automatically controlled by means of a BMS system, aiming at energy saving
